I have a patient with chronic gout today in surgery, and he has had gout so many times that he has a tophi in his foot and if you look down on the foot close up you can see lots and lots of gout crystals. This is what the gout crystals look like up close so I’m surgically removing this today and it’s gonna come out almost like a ball and then I’ll clean out the joint and will be able to move the joint much better after this is removed so this can be eliminated by taking antigout medicine and following very good dietary restrictions.
