Dr. Bret Brennan (Dr. Bret) attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC from 2006-2010. He Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Microbiology. During his time at Methodist, Dr. Bret played for the Methodist Monarchs Soccer team.
Dr. Bret attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio from 2010-2014. He graduated in the top 10% of his class with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Bret completed a three year Podiatric Surgical Residency at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa from 2014-2017. He also earned a certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Bret was published in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Journal for a Scientific literature review on the “Multidisciplinary Approach to Soft- Tissue Reconstruction of the Diabetic Charcot Foot”.
Along with being a lifelong soccer fan, Dr. Bret is an avid runner, having completed multiple marathons and half marathons. He also enjoys working with his hands outside of the operating room, designing and building furniture. He understands the value in staying involved in whats important to an individuals life, and will work with his patients to either conservatively or surgically manage their foot and ankle problems.
